Your participation helped transform the space into a lively exploration of Toledo's unique architecture and artistic spirit.

The Artomatic 419 Gallery and INTER/ACTIVE installations brought countless moments of discovery and connection, thanks to the incredible work of our local artists. We hope you enjoyed the at the weekend’s performances, Film Showcase, and the Artist Market, and Momentum | Intersection glass exhibition.

Made possible by the generosity of local businesses and individual donors, this festival is a celebration of Toledo's talented visual, performing, and literary artists. 2024 Festival Details (Media Release) 2024 Intersection Awardees (Media Release)

Celebrating our vibrant community through arts and culture.

BUILDING MOMENTUM

The story of Momentum is a celebration of community and the arts in Toledo. Nothing is a truer embodiment of this story than the Momentum | Intersection Exhibition. Started in 2018, a year after the festival's inaugural season, Intersection is an exhibit of glass art like no other.

The 2024 Exhibition features work from Gabriel Peña, Matthew Hutchinson, and Davin Ebanks. Their work will be on display at the Toledo Museum of Art Glass Pavilion, 2444 Monroe St., from September 18 to October 27 with an artist reception on Wednesday, September 18.

This exhibit would not be possible without the ongoing partnership with NSG Pilkington and the Toledo Museum of Art.

Artomatic 419 Gallery

The Exhibition Program (Artomatic 419 Gallery) showcases over 60 artists who have taken over the Gardner Building to display their work.

Momentum Inter/Active Art Installations

The Arts Commission of Greater Toledo’s Art in Public Places Program is commissioning two new interactive, community-driven, collaborative works of art that are accessible to the public and civic in scope, to be placed in key locations at this year’s Momentum Festival, taking place Friday September 20th through Sunday September 22nd, 2024.

Brood X Film Showcase 2024

Brood X, in partnership with the Momentum Festival hosted by The Arts Commission, provides a platform for visual storytellers to share their work in front of a physical audience composed of other movie-makers, creatives, producers, enthusiasts, and storytellers.

Momentum | Intersection 2024/25

The Momentum | Intersection glass program is a collaboration of industry, design, and art. Inspired by the studio glass movement, The Arts Commission seeks to provide new collaborations between applications of glass as an artistic medium and manufacturing processes. The program is a partnership with NSG, Pilkington North America.
