About Nicholas Runckel
Nicholas joined The Arts Commission in 2023 as the Administrative Coordinator. In this role, Nicholas supports office operations and procedures, including reception and records maintenance. Prior to joining The Arts Commission, they worked in data coordination at Sterling Pipe & Tube, supervised tech and print services at OfficeMax, and supported office management at Cambridge Place Banquet Hall. They are a Toledo-born artist, writer, and game designer who first became involved with The Arts Commission as a Young Artists at Work apprentice. Nicholas’ vocation is to make the invisible visible in meaningful ways and support generative relationships between people, cultural artifacts, and the environment.
